EvolvdFit ("we", "us") provides a personalised fitness coaching service through this app and website. EvolvdFit is operated by [YOUR LIMITED COMPANY NAME], registered in England and Wales (company number [NUMBER]), which is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at support@evolvdfit.com.
To provide your coaching plan we collect information you give us directly: your name and email address when you create an account; your fitness profile (age, height, weight, goals, training experience, dietary preferences); your food and workout logs; your weekly check-ins including body measurements; and progress photos if you choose to upload them. Health and fitness information is sensitive data, and we only use it to deliver and improve your personal plans — never for advertising, and we never sell it.
We process your account and usage data to perform our contract with you — in other words, to deliver the service you've paid for. Your health and fitness information (weight, body measurements, body fat, and any progress photos) is classed as special category data under UK GDPR, and we process it only on the basis of your explicit consent, which you give when you complete your profile. Progress photos are always optional and the service works without them. You can withdraw your consent at any time by deleting your photos, deleting your account, or emailing us — withdrawing consent doesn't affect anything we did lawfully before you withdrew it.
Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details. Stripe shares limited information with us (such as payment status and card brand) so we can manage your membership. Stripe's own privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.
The app is built and hosted on the Base44 platform (operated by Wix.com Ltd), which stores your data on secure cloud infrastructure and is certified to SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections. Base44's default data storage region is the United States, so your data — including any progress photos — is transferred outside the UK. These transfers are protected by the safeguards required under UK GDPR, such as the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses, under a data processing agreement.
Where AI features generate or review parts of your plan — including your weekly check-in feedback, which may analyse your measurements and any photos you upload — the relevant data is sent to third-party AI service providers solely to produce your results. It is not used to train their models for other purposes.
A small number of authorised EvolvdFit administrators can access account data where necessary to run the service, provide support, and fix problems. We keep this to the minimum needed and never browse your data out of curiosity.
We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account from the Profile page, your fitness profile and saved data are removed and any active subscription is cancelled. Some payment records must be retained for legal and accounting purposes.
Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict or object to how we use it, or ask for it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. You can delete your account at any time from the Profile page, or email us and we'll handle it for you. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you're unhappy with how we've handled your data.
Anything you post in the Community area (posts, comments, shared progress) is visible to other members. Don't share anything there you want to keep private.
EvolvdFit is for adults. You must be 18 or over to create an account.
If we make significant changes to this policy we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know in the app.
